Konami Searches for “New Developers” for MGS

Konami has recently posted a new job listing in the Japanese marketplace- What could this mean? Konami is having a baby? No!

This ad is asking for new recruits to work on “new developments,” supposedlyin the Metal Gear Solid franchise for consoles and handheld “portable aracades.”  This advertisement also asks for help in other popular Konami series, including Winning Eleven and Benami.

This could mean anything.  Ecspecially the ambiguous phrase “New developments.”  A new engine? A new storyline? New game coders? Physics? It could be so many different things, and at this point, no one knows.

This ad is most likely referring to the next Metal Gear Solid installment, “MGS: Raiden Versus Earth.”  This open-ended game could go so many ways with the basis of being able to create and control Earth’s various elements, including Wind, Earth, Water, etc.  Let’s pray these “New Developments” dont combine the Avatar nickelodeon TV series to MGS. It’ll be the end of the world.

Metal Gear Solid: Raiden Versus Earth is scheduled for a second quarter ’10 release, on the PS3, and iPhone.  What the hell? No 360? Sucks for the fanboys.
